Absolutely. Especially after watching the movie "The Bridge". (available only on bittorrent now that the Church of Scientology has put pressure on the filmmaker)
They left out identity blurring and claim to ownership by giving recruits/novices new names, but other than that, I can't think of anything they missed.
Was I the only one who instantly went to Scientology as a reference point? The similarities are too striking to ignore.
