Episode 190: Self-Help!
I found a bunch of random self-help albums on my hard drive. I don't know if they are interesting enough to play a lot of any one album, save for the sex one. So I threw in nine. Most of them have a background of standard Flintstones background music.

Episode 189: Marked for Death!
This podcast includes clips from a typical endtimes rant by good ol' Jack van Impe. From what I read, Jack considers himself more Bibleman than Willie Ames. On his TV show, which you can see here, his wife Rexella reads headlines, and Jack matches them to, well, glaringly obvious Bibleproof (different than real proof, so I've created a new word) that the Lord is coming; Look Busy.

Episode 188: Psi-Kick!
This podcast includes clips from an album called "Psi-Kick" by Oscar-Miro Quesadilla. I mean, Quesada. I downloaded the album from the cool sharity blog, A Basement of Curiosities. On the entry, "Grey Calx" writes,
On side A, Oscar explains how you can enhance your ESP powers just by relaxing and meditating. Yes, just by relaxing and meditating. On side B, Oscar teaches you how to do Uri Geller moves by using your psychokinetic powers that you should have to bend forks. Curiously, there is no information on how to develop your ESP or psychokinetic powers on Oscar's website.
I'd also like to say that, regardless of my rant or what the awesome Mr. Stang says, the Church of the Subgenius welcomes nonbelievers as individuals who are too different to be the same. Otherwise it would seem like I was some kind of idiot.

Brains of Believers and Non-Believers as different as brains of gay men and straight men
Brains!
"We found that religious people or even people who simply believe in the existence of God show significantly less brain activity in relation to their own errors. They're much less anxious and feel less stressed when they have made an error.""
And there it is, friends. The reason you cannot point out logical fallacies to a believer. The more you do, the better they feel about their position, and the more locked in they become. Wanna see? Check out my You Tube video for The Noah's Ark Horror, and see the comments.
And perhaps that is why believers see Science as a dogma lead by Scientists. With their way of thinking, changes in Scientific knowledge are simply belief-errors of people in a rival cult. Change your mind? Why, whatever for, if we're talking belief? God is what he is, right? Ah, SOMA!
Another thought: here's a great way to stress out an atheist. If you want to freak him out, point out a logical error. Whether or not he tries to rationalize, he's feel like crap about it.
