Jerry Falwell has just passed away. And make no mistake, Fred Phelps *will* picket his funeral. He has been harshly critical of Falwell for quite some time now, for everything from his Arminian theology to his backpedalling after his 9/11 remarks.
Separately... when one has 13 children, yes, it's safe to assume they're totally heterosexual.
Really? I didn't know that latent homosexuals had something wrong with their reproductive organs.
Most children of homosexuals were conceived the old fashioned way. The old closeted folks are still out there.
As far as J Falwell, I am about to check the website of the Phelps' to find their gleeful celebration.

Question - in track 2 'Westboro Baptist - pledge' who was the man who was speaking. I know the woman was Shirley, but the man didn't sound familiar (I'm something of a Phelps completist).
You must admit - the man is a talented at shock. He adds a little relief to this boring, jaded existence of ours. Great tribute, btw.
I downloaded this and listened all the way through. I'm going to keep it - it's excellent. A privelege to be included.

You guys might be interested in the upcoming podcast, number 57: Duck and Cover (I'm working on it right now). I made a silly little mashup of Fred Phelps and Fernando Lamas. I laughed. It's not the best mashup out there, but too bad I didn['t make it in time for this one!
